Lord Vishnu has given his name to this Month hence the month is known as Purushotam Mass,

This Month is equally dear to lord Vishnu as that if Baisakh and Kartik,

Sri Vishnu Pad Puja is prime subject of the month,

Snan Daan is define chapter of the month that to purify self for eternal cause,
