पूरी काशी ही ज्योति स्वरूप है

काशी नाम का अर्थ भी यही है जहां ब्रह्म प्रकाशित हो
वरुणा और असि नामक नदियों के बीच पांच कोस में बसी होने के कारण इसे वाराणसी भी कहते हैं

काशी मुक्ति देती है, मोक्ष देती हैं।

जीव को तत्वज्ञान देती है और उसके सामने अपना ब्रह्मस्वरूप प्रकाशित होता है

मुक्तिदायिनीकाशी की यात्रा बाबा विश्वनाथ की कृपा से ही प्राप्त होता है

काशी में कहीं पर भी मृत्यु के समय भगवान विश्वेश्वर (विश्वनाथजी) प्राणियों के दाहिने कान में तारक मन्त्र का उपदेश देते हैं तारकमन्त्रसुनकर जीव भव-बन्धन से मुक्त हो जाता है

त्रिपुरारि भगवान विश्वनाथ की राजधानी वह काशी संपूर्ण जगत् की रक्षा करे

केदारनाथ

शिवोहम_शिवोहम_शिवोहम-श्री केदारनाथ द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिगोंमें से एक माना जाता है-श्रीकेदारनाथका मंदिर 3593फीट की ऊंचाई पर बना हुआ एक भव्य एवं विशाल मंदिर है-संध्या के समय भगवान का श्रृंगार किया जाता है-प्रात:काल में शिव-पिंड को प्राकृतिक रूप से स्नान कराकर उस पर घी-लेपन किया जाता है-महाभारत के युद्ध में विजयी होने पर पांडव भ्रातृहत्या के शाप से मुक्ति पाना चाहते थे-भगवान शंकर के दर्शन के लिए पांडव हिमालय तक आ पहुंचे भगवान शंकर अंतध्र्यान हो कर केदार में जा बसे भगवान शंकर ने बैल का रूप धारण कर लिया -पांडवों को संदेह हो गया-बैल भूमि में अंतध्र्यान होने लगा-भीम ने बैल की पीठ का हिस्सा पकड लिया-उन्होंने तत्काल दर्शन देकर पांडवों को पाप मुक्त कर दिया-उसी समय से शंकर बैल की पीठ की आकृति-पिंड के रूप में श्री केदारनाथ में पूजेजाते हैं

रविवार भैरव का दिन है
शनि की शान्ति कालभैरव की पूजा से हो जाती है
ज्योतिषशास्त्र के अनुसार शनि के प्रकोप का शमन भैरव की आराधना से होता है

रुद्राक्ष परम शुब फल दाई होता है और सभी पापो का नाशक व सिद्धि कारक मन गया है.

रुद्राक्ष के विषय में शिवपुराण अनुसार, हजारों वर्ष तक तप करने के बाद भगवान शिव ने जब आंखें खोलीं, तो उनकी आंखों से एक-एक करके कई बूंदें टपक पडीं। यही बूंदें बाद में रुद्राक्ष का वृक्ष बन गई।
रूप की दृष्टि से अनेक प्रकार के रुद्राक्ष पाए जाते हैं, जैसे-एकमुखी से चतुर्दश तक
एकमुखी दो मुखी तथा पंचमुखी रुद्राक्ष को साक्षात शिव का स्वरूप माना जाता है इसे धारण करने से भक्ति तथा मुक्ति प्राप्त होती है

त्रि-मुखी रुद्राक्ष धन तथा विद्या प्रदाता है
चतुर्मुखी रुद्राक्ष को साक्षात ब्रह्मा का स्वरूप हैं
