Obeisance to You Mother, the primordial cause of everything,

Mother revere your lotus feet on the auspicious occasion with all faith and reverence,

O Gracious Mother, devotees extol you on the occasion, and make respective oblations to mark the day,

Mother, you are the cause of all causes, you are indeed the supreme reality for one and all,

O Mother Divine, originators of sound-the essence of sky, the cause of Sankalp and the reality,

Mother, Your kind honor is pure intelligence and truth of compassion, for devotees and followers,

आज प्रथम नवरात्र जो माँ शैल पुत्री की पूजा के नाम से जाना जाता है इस दिन भक्त विविद प्रकार से माँ की पूजा कर मानव जन्म का लाभ पाते है
माँ शैल पुत्री परम करुनामय, सदेव ही भक्तो पर करुणा बरसाती है
योग साधना से भक्त माँ की असीम कृपा पा लेते है
चंडिका देवी को प्रणाम-मात शैल पुत्रिये नमो नमः

Today it is start of summer Navratrey that falls in divine month chaitra; it is also start of Hindi New Year. Nine days of divinity, bestower of wishes, giver of devotion and the days to worship divine mother DURGA in varying names.

O Mother abode of fortune, who art worshipped By Devas, remover of all miseries my obeisance to thee.

O mother, giver of intelligence and success and of the worldly enjoyment and liberation. O comprehensive divine chapter with compassion my obeisance to thee.

O mother, without beginning or an end, o primeval energy, savior of fallen, giver of prosperity and peace my obeisance to thee.
