Today it is sixth day of sacred Navratrey that known for the worship of Mother Katyani,

There had been a sage very famous on all spheres with name Kat- his was Katya equally great saint and in their line there had been a sage Katyayan who practice great penance to have Divine Mother as his loving daughter and then Mother Manifest as a child to bless the sage  and known as Mother Katyani,

Mother Katyani killed not only Mahishasur but many demons of his race,

Mother Katyani is great giver and bestower of wishes,

Mother Katyani removes the afflictions of fate and turn fate to favour,

Mother Katyani worshipped by Gopies of Brij Bhumi in quest to get Sri Krishna as spouse,

Mother Katyani is known as great giver of love and respective truth to aspirants unto path,

Mother katyani has manifest in Brij Bhumi on the call of Gopies and establish her Shakti Peeth there in Vrindavan

Mother Katyani is verily worshipped throughout the Brij Bhumi and especially  in Sri Vrindavan,
