Today is Shani Amavasya; it is new moon on Saturday which
proves very fruitful to attain religious merits.
Indeed it is very auspicious day for performing religious
practice and charity; it is a day to wipe off the blemishes of sins that one
commit either in compulsion or unknowingly or with wish.
New moon means sun in conjunction with moon which itself is a
yoga that giver of light eternal.
Indeed a day for holy dip in celestial stream, indeed a day
to that suits for pilgrimage and day for offering Ganga jal at Shiv lingam And a
day to worship sri Ganga ji to please Pitar and souls of ancestors.
