कूष्माण्डा

देवी भगवती दुर्गा के चतुर्थ स्वरूप का नाम कूष्माण्डा है। अपनी मंद हंसी के कारण इन्हें कूष्माण्डादेवी के नाम से जाना गया इन्हीं देवी ने अपनी मधुर परमानन्दमय मुस्कान से ब्रह्माण्ड की रचना की-यही सृष्टि की आदि स्वरूपा आदि शक्ति हुई -इनकी आठ भुजाएं हैं इसी कारन ये अष्टभुजा देवी के नाम से भी विख्यात हैं इनके हाथों में क्रमश:कमण्डल, धनुष बाण, कमल, पुष्प, अमृतपूर्णकलश, चक्र तथा गदा व सभी सिद्धियों और निधियों को देने वाली जपमाला है इनका वाहन सिंह है भगतो को अभय दान देना ही श्री माँ का परम स्वरुप है इनकी उपासना से जीव यहाँ सब सुख पा लेते है और अंत में परमगति को प्राप्त होते है नवरात्रों में की गई पूजा परम फल दाई कही गई है थोडी सी पूजा, थोड़ा सा सत्य, थोड़ा सा ध्यान कुछ समर्पण बस यही माँ की अस्सेम कृपा पाने हेतु परम सूत्र है बड़ी दयालु है श्री माँ _श्री माँ के चरणों में बारम्बार प्रणाम

दुर्गतिनाशिनी त्वंहिदारिद्रादि विनाशिनीम

जयंदाधनदां कूष्माण्डे प्रणमाम्यहम

जगन्माता जगतकत्रीजगदाधार रूपणीम

चराचरेश्वरी कूष्माण्डे प्रणमाम्यहम

त्रैलोक्यसुंदरीत्वंहि दुख शोक निवारिणाम

परमानंदमयी कूष्माण्डे प्रणमाम्यहम

Fourth day of Sri Sri Navratras belongs to divine mother krishmanda, being heaving a light smile full of bliss and blessings for devotees mother named as krishmanda.
