Jai sir Ganesha,
Maha-Shiv Ratri, all preparations are on for the wonderful
celebration of Divine spirit in the Name of Sri Sri Maha-Shiv Ratri,
Lord Shiva is as old as anything, the very cause of this universe
and even Vedas, the Shiva cult and Saivism are of hoary antiquity,
Religious observation on this day considered excessively
dear to Lord Shiva,
Indeed this festival of Divine Light is greatest of all
Hindu festivals; there are so many stories and incidents of ages and the eras support
the truth of this divine day so called Maha-Shiv Ratri,
Indeed it is a day that bestower
of wishes in the journey of life,
This is the day when lord Shiva save this universe from the
poison churn out in process to attain nectar for gods,
Fast on this day is open to all human beings, the basic discipline
to be kept in the fast, practice of non-violence and truth at its best, compassionate
nature and forgiveness add pace to the fast, performing charity in true spirit
decorate the spirit for fast, indeed faith and submission are the prime subject
of this fast with very few food limitations,
Keeping vigil in the evening with realization unto self and
the supreme one truly make it complete,
