Today it is Sri Sri Maha Ashtami, indeed Sri Durga Ashtami,

The day of Mother Gauri,

Great day for devotees of Divine Mother, indeed it is a day of Kumari Pujan, worship of girl child unblemished in body and appearance and is worshipped as embodiment of Devi or goddess,

Indeed very auspicious day of Sharad Navaratrey, very very special day for devotees,

On the junction of eighth and ninth day, yogini Pujan is performed, worship of those 64 forms of mother to bless the life varyingly,

Mother Gauri is the same that worshipped by Sri Sita in Treta Yug to attain the blessings to meet the wish of heart,

Mother Gauri is most compassionate form of Divine Mother which never looks at the ills but ever count the merits of devotees to bless them,

Truly bestower of wishes on the planet if any one that is Mother Gauri,

“Obeisance to O Mother, please accept my humble homage on the occasion”
