Sawan month and shiv puja
Sawan month and shiv puja are co related to each other to earn blessings from the kind honor of lord Shiva. Every day in Sawan has its great relevance on the subject of divine spirit. Devotees earn easy blessings from the compassionate lord Shiva.
There is tradition of offering holy water of river Sri Ganga Ji on the shiv lingam to attain the ultimate purity of heart and mind in life. Kavariyas are special devotees who offer the divine nectar in the form of composite mode of Sri Ganga jal and their dedicated penance their in to bring the same on foot from far way source of divine value.
Mondays have special references for this great divine chapter and special prayers are being performed by devotees to the lotus feet of lord Shiva. If it falls five Mondays in a Sawan month, it is considered very auspicious all the way for all.
In any month as per Hindi calendar, third and ninth day from start comes under the direct version of holy mother sri Gauri ji, 8th and 14th day comes under the direct blessing mode of lord Shiva, 4th day from start of any fortnight of Hindi month is considered to be the day of blessings from lord Ganesha.
All these day have their special meaning in Sawan month along with others days too.
12th and Pradosh {13th} are of great divine value in Sawan.
Ekadasi too have great devotional bearing especially in Sawan.
Sawan is great all the way.
