Lord shiv has its five faces to reflect its five basic acts on for life. They are all around in north south east and west and fifth one on above them.
Each face has its great significator on the subject of life. Life is divided in three basic modes beginning, middle and the end.
Every part of it has a relevance to understand and realize to carry on with true spirit. Lord shiv is the creator of this universe, he is the one who make the things easier to survive either nature of the life, nature consist of animate and inanimate where as life is live and need better attention & care from its creator.
All the four faces reflect the basic four acts they are as_ creation, maintenance, destruction, and change over and fifth face which rest above the first four is meant for final beatitude or emancipation.
All these subjects are easily attainable with the grace of lord Shiva to attain ultimate glory of life as human.
