The great seven seers reach at the mother to reflect the version of lord Shiva about the god of sensuality, kaam dev. They address the way this that relying on sage narada you would not heed our remonstrated then. Your vow has failed now; for a great lord Shiva has burnt the god of sensuality.
Hearing this, mother bhavani smiled & said, ‘o great sages, you have spoken aright. According to your belief it is only now that Shiva has burnt the god of sensuality and that till now he was smitten with the same. To my mind, how ever, Shiva is eternally in rapport with the infinite, unbegotten, irreproachable, passionate and with out worldly enjoyments.
Knowing him as such, if I have served him lovingly in thought, words and deed, then here, o great sages: the gracious lord will accomplish my vow. fire Posses this inherent property that frost can never approach it.
Lord shiv as gracious lord all the way.
