As per the quotes of time and ages on the script of life, five chapters have been identified in light of truth, that creation, intermediate creation, dynasties of gods and of the patriarchs, the fourteen Manus and their period with genealogy of the kings of the solar race and the lunar race that to mark the truth of beginning, through the light of Sankalp of an hidden entity which exist in self alone and all other exist in that, known in the name of supreme reality that Shiva,

Shiva, that Manifest in the form of an infinite define column of fire without beginning and the end, and day called the Maha Shivratri,

The fourteenth day of the first half in conjunct with thirteenth and is celebrated as,

Saints and sages then prescribe the sacred syllabus to mark the day for the gains,

Rituals and  oblations are defined by the enlighten souls in light of spirit to mark the day for eternal gains,

Indeed self restraint is the foremost subject to adore with, faith in the mercy of Shiva is a must factor to enjoin the celebration,

Diet restriction and purity of body and mind matters equally, to mark the day on merit,
