Jai Sri Ganesha,
Man grows in spiritual excellence when he gives up all undue attachments of mundane existence  and restraint
 self from sense objects which are evanescent,

Attachments could be a virtue to a limit till one becomes incapable of detachment,

Indeed mother needs to be attached to her child for a truthful growth but after a stage child needs to maintain a distance from, for a worldly growth,

Man capable of maintaining equidistance from self and the world are bound to cross the ocean of mundane existence,
