Four Sages

The Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and the Sanatkunara were very first child of Brahma,

Indeed they were Manasa Putra, born out of mind,

These four were endowed with qualities like Brahma that of high origin

Being new at the start that time the mind of Brahman was perfectly pure without any afflictions of Maya and indicated the same in them,

Brahma advised them to perpetuate the world but they prefer to meditate and set forth,

Endowed with highest perfection unto subject of Knowledge, they were ever controlled and established in oneness with,

They were in refuge of almighty truth that in true spirit, death and changeover did not dare to approach them,

All the four were blessed with power to align and re-align

Indeed they were immortal by nature and through practice of truth, they consolidate self in truth for the cause,

Sage Narada was proficient in all kind of knowledge and skill yet bare from the eternal peace, had approached them to learn the truth to make it, and blessed with truth unto inherent joy of spirit,

Sage Kashyapa

Sage Kashyapa was the son of Maharishi Marichi, one of the seventh mind born or manas putra of Brahma,

His mother was Kala that daughter of Kardam Rishi,

Sage Kashyapa consort of great Diti and Aditi,

Ancient scripture relate the truth that all all living beings that divine and semi-divine owe their origin in Kashyapa,

Sage Kashyapa was prominent in Brahma's council of sages, Brahma pleased with him that he imparted many branches of knowledge to him and gave him the entire earth,

Sage Kashyapa practised severe penance and austerity to match the truth all the way,

Sage Kashyapa's greatness and spiritual stature made him an able arbitrator and teacher of spiritual knowledge

Sage Kashyapa performed penances and pilgrimages to ensure peace and prosperity,

The legendary Sun and the Saturn belongs to the linage of Sage Kashyapa,

Maharishi Vashista, one of the Saptarishis, was manas putra[son] of Brahma,

He was one of the 21 Prajapatis created to people this gross plane of the universe,

Devi Arundhati, a great lady of the time was Consort of Maharishi Vashista,

Shakti was his son, grandson was Parashara, great grand son Vyasa is well known to the time and ages for his work and worship,

The sage was the venerable family guru of the the powerful ikshvaku dynasty, the royal race in which Sri Rama manifest,

Sage Vashista was a truth of Sri Ramayana, he trained sri Rama in his childhood with mystic skill to conquer the universe,

Sage Vishvamitra

Sage Vishvamitra was known by the name Kaushika, as he was a descendant of the famous royal house of Kusha,

Gadhi, the father of Vishvamitra crowned him king of kanyakubja-presently Kannauj in Up,

Soon he become the successful king and he was wise enough to interpret truth yet confronted by the sage Vashistha,

While king on a hunting expedition, he and his sons and soldiers were sumptuously entertained by Vashistha  

Wondering how a hermit could produce so much food at such a short notice, soon discover the truth of Cow Kamadhenu,

Vishvamitra wanting to get cow for himself, began dragging the unwilling cow along with him, this resulted into anger of Cow and the Sage Vashistha which parish the army and sons of Vishvamitra,

Which Made Him realized the truth of spiritual power of Sage Vashistha,

Vishvamitra returned to his kingdom and handed over power to his relatives and set self unto truth of penance,

In the pilgrimage of penance he visualize the things beyond perception, King Indra sent Rambha to break the monotony of penance of sage Vishvamitra, Sage cursed her after the truth that born in the name of Shakuntala,

Vishvamitra Resumed his inner journey on the pitch of eternal truth to make it and reach at the glory of sagacious truth and called Sage Vishvamitra,

He initiated Vedic Sacrifices that meant for all including mankind,

Vishvamitra represented the kshatriya castes but by the grace of Lord Shiva he is honoured with truth of Brahman,

Despite thei differences, Vishvamitra and Vashistha always acknowledged each other's greatness,

Vashistha being a Brahmarishi himself, conferred the same status on Vishvamitra,
