spirit and matter

 Jai Sri Ganesha,

Life unfolds in two distinct, yet interwoven, aspects: the mortal and the immortal.

Within this cosmic dance, orchestrated by the grand illusion of Maya, the soul and matter perform their respective roles. Every mortal being navigates this ephemeral world, their spirit—whether silent or stirring—so intricately bound to its material vessel that to separate the two becomes a near-impossible task.

From the perspective of eternity, all beings are inherently immortal. Yet, when cloaked in flesh, they are compelled to act from a place of relative identity, a truth defined by their temporary, embodied form. Matter, lifeless on its own, finds its animation only through the soul, though the soul itself remains unseen within its physical confines. Conversely, the soul can exist independent of matter, a pure essence that is profound but difficult for the embodied to comprehend.

For the mortal, death is but a transition toward this immortality, a state that may last for a moment or an eon. Yet, few manage to transcend the final horizon—to attain their pristine, original reality, a state of being that exists beyond the very concepts of spirit and matter.,
