While the reality of ego is difficult to define, as it primarily manifests through conditions and circumstances,
aspirants on the path to truth and self-discovery attempt to align themselves with truth, thereby circumventing this profoundly deceptive aspect of being.
A heart in which ego has been completely subdued is characterized by a serene countenance and an enduring smile, a mark of equanimity regardless of adversity.
