It is a day for sri Vishnu Pad Puja, Vishnu-the sustainer of this universe and a savior of pious souls, the one who manifest with time and again in varying forms to help the devotees and servants,

Adoration of the day is more than any sacred pilgrimage, indeed this Yajna is of better magnitude than that performed in solar or lunar eclipse, of course even bigger than Ashmegha Yajna, it is a great source to attain virtues to rejuvenate self with divine wealth,

Serving the Brahman on the day is designated truth of the day, performing charity for the cause is define chapter to adore on the day, Deep Daan in the evening add pace to adoration,

Mur was a great demon in line from Brahma Vansh who had taken over the rights from all gods and rulling the world with his wish and will irrespective of truth and the cause, Lord Vishnu fought with him along gods but of no result then lord went to Badrikashram for rest in a cave, this demons follows lord but a power manifest in feminine character and kill this demon along with his army in fraction of seconds which charm the lord, Lord awarded boon to her unto glory of that entity in the name of Ekadasi which excessively dear to lord, and take a vow to directly help the devotees of Sri Ekadasi and assure them of his abode here after,
