Indeed it mainly based on the transit status of Jupiter and
the sun,
Maha Kumb falls once in 12 years when Jupiter transit
through zodiac Sign Aquarius but relates to exalted state of the Sun,
As per a legend that widely believed, the pot of nectar that
emerged from the milk of ocean during its churning was carried away by son of
Indra, to heaven, being hotly pursued by the demons-in the process of carrying
which took him 12 days that equivalent to 12 years of earth and jayant said to
have dropped few drops at four places that
Prayaag,
Haridwar,
Ujjain
Nasik
and dignify the bank of rivers along with to experience the
truth of nectar by life on the planet for ages to follows for ultimate gains on
the chapter of wisdom, and since than festival of Kumb is celebrated in divine
spirit to perceive the nectar as paved by jayant for life at an interval of 12
years respectively, indeed lord Saturn was warrior that protecting it from
demons,
So the sacred festival of human race is on, on the planet in
