There are eight respective deities of lord Shiva heaving their own relevance to life.
They are sharve, bhave, rudra, ugra, bheem, pasupati, eshaan and mahadev.

Sharve indicates earth, hence reflects on the earth component of life.

Rudra indicates fire, hence reflects on the fire component of life.
