Indeed a very auspicious day to worship Lord Ganesha, The giver and the tangible support for life,

It is not just one episode that relates  to Raja Nal and Rani Damyanti, but it highlight the glory of the day,

Raja Nal was a true and pious king who rules his state with truth and penance yet he fail to sustain his kingdom, Cheaters takeover the charge and force king to depart from,

Raja and rani spend tough time in forest along with their son but this was not the end of misery for royal family, they separated in forest for reasons beyond control and it makes their life even more hell than any thing,

In due course Rani meet the fate in the form of Sharbhang Rishi who simply brief the Rani to adore Lord Ganesha for seven consecutive Sri Ganesh chaturthi to regain the truth of her life and family,

 And Rani follow the instruction of sage and in just three months their family unified and in seven month they attain their kingdom back by the grace of Lord Ganesha so is the might of this day and worship of this day,
